The trial version is now free of cost. There is nothing you need to pay. You can download an evaluation version of the software by sending us an email. We will mail you a secure link with a password.

The evaluation version is as accurate as the full version. However, you can create any type of charts in the evaluation version, but you cannot save them. Also you cannot create reports. Compatibility matching is also not available. However, the evaluation version gives you a set of sample pdf and xps reports including a compatibility matching report which will help you understand the richness of Jyotishya Deepika's reporting system.

Also the evaluation version will be functional for 16 days or for 25 uses (whichever happens first). Thereafter the software shuts down and cannot be activate again.

Yes. You will have to uninstall the evaluation version before installing the full version.

For Indian Residents:

The cost of the full license is Rs.10,000 + 5% VAT (ten thousand Rupees only + 5% VAT).

For Foreign Residents:

The cost of the full license is US$ 250 (two hundred fifty US Dollars only).

We categorize upgrades as "minor version upgrades" and "major version upgrades". For example, the current release of Jyotishya Deepika Ultimate is version 5.2.2. In this the "5" indicates the major version number and "0" the minor version number. When we release some fixes based on customer's feedback, we will prepare a minor version upgrade and the "2" gets incremented. This can happen many times in a year depending on the feedback and the prioritization we do for the feedback we receive. All minor version upgrades are given free to all customers.

A major version upgrade is performed annually or even later (depending on the software development life cycle we follow) and in this case the "5" is incremented to "6" and so on. For such major version upgrades, all customers will receive a substantial discount (approximately 70% to 80% based on the decision we make).

No. The current version and forwards has done away with the concept of chart databases which need backup and restoration. Now it is up to your convenience as to how and where you will store your chart files. You can even send charts you create to other users of Jyotishya Deepika v5.2 as long as they are running the same version of the software.

As there is no fee for the trial version, you will need to pay the full price for the complete version.

This NO REFUND policy we follow is common for everything and applies to all customers irrespective of place of residence or mode of payment.

Refund for reasons mentioned in the EULA (software license agreement) will be decided on a case per case basis with no precedence accounted for and please get in touch with us for this.
